How far is it from True North?

The Paul Bunyan State Trail passes directly through Nisswa. The nearest trail access point is approximately 1.5 miles from True North, providing convenient access for guests.


When is it open?

The trail is open year-round. However, certain activities are season-dependent:​

  • Spring to Fall: Ideal for biking, in-line skating, hiking, and walking.​

  • Winter: Open for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing, depending on snow conditions.​

Trail conditions and accessibility may vary with weather; it's advisable to check local conditions before planning your visit.


How much does it cost?

There is no fee to use the Paul Bunyan State Trail, making it an affordable option for outdoor recreation.
